Setup with Focusrite RedNet 6 MADI Bridge


Award-winning remote recording specialists add RedNet 6 to their workflow, based on its ability to provide a seamless interface between MADI multi-channel audio and the Dante™ audio networking protocol

The firm has recently expanded the setup in their mobile broadcast mix trucks with the addition of a RedNet 6 MADI Bridge from Focusrite (booth 6464). RedNet is Focusrite’s acclaimed range of Ethernet-networked audio interfaces, based around the industry-standard Dante™ Ethernet audio networking system.

About RedNet 6
Providing a bridge between any Dante IP audio network and MADI/AES10 audio formats, RedNet 6 supports up to 64 channels of either coaxial or optical MADI interfaces and features a sample rate convertor on each input and output. This allows the user to interface between MADI and Dante irrespective of the sample rate that either system is operating. Featuring external word clock in and out, RedNet 6 allows the user to slave either Dante systems or MADI streams to an external clock and supports up to 64 channels of digital audio I/O at sample rates of 44.1/48kHz, 32 channels at 96kHz or 16 channels at 192kHz. RedNet 6 is the perfect solution for connecting any Dante system to MADI based devices including mixing consoles, interfaces, computer cards, convertors and more - allowing you to integrate and extend your Dante or MADI setups seamlessly
