Roland Offers Industry-Leading Digital Piano Warranties, Financing, and Value-added Packs for Home Digital Piano Lines

Los Angeles, CA, October 16, 2015 — In celebration of their new premium home digital pianos, Roland has rolled out a generous new warranty program and bonus bench pack for the new models, plus special financing options for all Roland pianos. The four new home digital pianos combine the latest developments in sound, keyboard action, speaker systems and design, with innovative technology, interactivity, and connectivity. Each comes in a premium cabinet with a small footprint and a choice of finishes to match any home décor.

The HP603, HP605, LX-7 and LX-17 share Roland’s latest SuperNATURAL® Piano Modeling technology, as well as the new PHA-50 progressive hammer action keyboard – a unique, hybrid wooden keyboard that provides the finest piano feel while avoiding typical maintenance costs and performance issues often associated with traditional keyboard actions.

Acknowledging the role smartphones and tablets play in modern learning, the HP603 lets players access free music-score apps like PiaScore on their iOS device via Bluetooth® technology. The HP605, LX-7 and LX-17 allow players to wirelessly connect to iOS/Android apps or online practice videos, then route the audio through speakers/headphones to play along.

Inside the included piano bench for the four new models, players will discover nearly $600 worth of exclusive value-added media and merchandise for their enjoyment. Included are premium Roland headphones, an LED piano light, a digital instruction book that’s compatible with smartphones or tablets, two deluxe songbooks, interactive music apps, and more. This value bundle is exclusive to Roland Premium Upright Piano customers and dealers.

In addition, each piano is backed by an industry-first digital piano warranty for 10 years on both parts and labor that includes in-home service. This new warranty tier emphasizes Roland’s commitment to not only producing superior-quality products, but also supporting dealers and musicians after their purchase decision.

To help ensure a more profitable holiday season for dealers, Roland is also offering two new consumer financing promotions through Allegro Credit on all Roland pianos from now until December 31, 2015. At no cost to the dealer, customers can receive either a super-low 7.99% APR (up to 60 month term) or a very attractive “12 months same-as-cash” option (no finance charges if paid in full within 12 months). Free point-of-purchase signage is available for authorized dealers to promote these offers.

Roland’s digital piano development
Back in 1974, Roland launched the EP-30, the world’s first touch-sensitive electronic piano.  Since then, the company has become a leader in digital piano innovation as well as one of the world’s best-known musical instrument brands. During this journey, Roland’s advanced technology has shaped the entire field of digital piano development. In the 1980s a fully digital piano sound engine offered customers remarkable realism, leading to significant success and market share. Highlights from the intervening years include the first hammer-action keyboards without springs and the DigiScore system, a ‘digital sheet music’ screen built in to the music rest that also offered lessons to help you learn the piano.
