Roland Exhibits Its Range of Professional Audio Solutions for the Broadcast Market

NAB Show New York, October 18, 2017 — Roland Professional A/V is showcasing its range of A/V solutions for the broadcast market at its exhibition booth (#N1140) at the NAB Show New York. In addition to its existing products, including the V-1200HD Multi-Format Video Switcher, VR Series AV Switchers, V-1SDI Video Switcher, M-5000 OHRCA Live Mixing Console and more, Roland will be announcing the release of new product at the booth (stop by #N1140 for more info and announcement schedule).

The V-1200HD Multi-Format Video Switcher, a hybrid-engine 2-M/E switcher and processor for broadcast and live events, is a comprehensive and flexible switching solution giving users complete control of video sources, key layers and mixing engine configurations. The V-1200HD enables two operators using one frame for a broadcast/stream mix and a separate live event switch with full pixel accurate scaling on two outputs for LED video walls. Expansion cards provide additional I/O including SDI and DVI plus Dante™, and MADI digital audio I/O. In addition to powerful video capabilities, the V-1200HD also has a built-in 16-channel audio mixer plus 92-channels in and out patchbay to embed and de-embed audio.

The VR Series of streaming-ready AV Switchers currently includes the VR-50HD, VR-4HD and VR-3EX AV Mixers, The all-in-one design simplifies the complex integration of equipment needed to produce professional quality broadcast productions and events into portable and easy-to-use solutions. Complete with hardware controls and touch screen operation, VR Series mixers make it easy for a single operator to preview and switch video sources, mix audio and output a final production of any live event or meeting ready for webcast and presentations. A simple USB AV output port provides streaming or recording to any Mac or PC.

The V-1SDI 3G-SDI Video Switcher is a flexible and versatile video switcher that makes it easy to connect and switch professional 3G SDI cameras and playback sources along with HDMI sources including cameras, smart phones, computers, tablets, Blu-ray players and more. Compact and portable, the V-1SDI delivers professional switching results with its easy to use hardware interface complete with T-Fader and easy-to-see backlit buttons. With support for 3G-SDI, the V-1SDI can operate at full 1080p resolution and can take advantage of the longer cable distance of SDI making this compact solution suitable for events and applications in even large spaces with the most professional level of SDI camera sources.

The acclaimed M-5000 and M-5000C OHRCA Live Mixing Consoles are a new generation of live sound solutions for audio professionals. “OHRCA” stands for “Open, High Resolution, Configurable Architecture,” an infrastructure offering freely definable audio paths, support for multiple audio format protocols and pristine 96 kHz sound quality throughout the system. The M-5000 has two built-in REAC ports, plus two expansion card slots with seven expansion card options including Dante, MADI, Waves SoundGrid®, or more REAC ports, as well as audio embedded over video protocols ideal for broadcasting applications. The console can see up to 300 inputs and 296 outputs, all at 96kHz and even more at 48kHz.
