Willcox Guitars Adds Anthony Terrezza to Team of Advisory Artists
California-based instrumentalist joins Willcox’s growing family of artists
Carpinteria, California, September 30, 2015 – Willcox Guitars, an acclaimed instrument manufacturer and a leading innovator in guitar and bass pickups and related technologies through its proprietary LightWave Systems (LWS), is pleased to announce the addition of acclaimed instrumentalist Anthony Terrezza to its team of Advisory Artists. The announcement was made by Tom Kowalczyk, Vice President Sales & Marketing for Willcox Guitars, and reflects Willcox’s growing profile among top-tier players. In his new position, Terrezza will be working closely with Willcox’s R&D and other members of the brand’s Artist Advisory panel, providing input on the next generation of high-tech, market-driven guitar and bass instruments.
“Anthony’s playing has been described as ‘mesmerizing,’ and his songs ‘electrifying, high-vibrational, spirit-based and inspirational,’” stated Tom Kowalczyk. “We were instantly drawn to him because of his ability to show off the advanced capabilities of our LightWave Systems Optical Pickups in our guitars and basses through his advanced playing styles. Anthony Terrezza is a ‘musician’s-musician’ who follows his passion with integrity in all aspects of his music. With three self-produced original albums under his belt, and a fourth one coming out soon, he is as prolific as he is proficient. He’s an accomplished creator, arranger, engineer, and producer, with a musical style that combines jazz, fusion, rock and R&B.”
About Anthony Terrezza:
Anthony performs at concert venues around the country including the NAMM Show in Anaheim, the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, the Jacksonville Jazz Festival, the Laguna Beach Festival of the Arts and other great venues. Born and raised in New Jersey, Terrezza cultivates the highest quality in songwriting, concert performance, studio sessions, engineering and producing. His history as a session player and producer enable him to bring depth and dimension to every project and performance. He has developed and recorded unique guitar parts that have been heard on TV and in movies (such as Discovery Channel, NBC, ABC, TV Commercials, Radio Jingles, Theme Songs for Talk Radio shows), and Children’s Albums.Many have compared his style to Steve Lukather, Larry Carlton, Toto, Steely Dan and Pablo Cruise. His recorded songs are enhanced by performances of jazz pioneer pianist Dan Siegel; drummers Jim Blair, Tom Grignon & Ron Robertson; and Saxophonist Greg Vail, as well as some of the very best local musicians in Southern California. He recorded his three CDs – Higher Ground, Return to Spirit and West Coast Christmas – at Blue Knight Studio. Another album is underway, with Terrezza writing and recording in between tours and concerts; the first song “Confunktion” is complete and available on his website as well as on CDbaby.
