AUDIO VISUAL PRESENTATIONS SELECTS XANTECH LCD TOUCHSCREENS FOR FEDERAL COURTROOMS IN TEXAS
SYLMAR, CA, October 16, 2009 — Longview, Texas-based firm Audio Visual Presentations has more than four decades of experience in technical installations, sales and rental for their customers’ audio, video, integration, network, rental and problem-solving needs. Owner and company principal Kevin Modisette has recently been involved in several key installations for Federal Courts throughout eastern Texas, and he has chosen LCD touchscreens from Xantech Corporation, a leader in the field of audio/video remote control and distribution for 40 years.

Also, there are certain times when a court might need some split-screen capabilities, like in a patent case, where the document is split. These screens are particularly great for that. And the size is perfect. The 6.4-inch screen is not too big, not too little. And Xantech also has a model of the screen with Video PiP capabilities, in case we need video preview right on the control panel.”
About the CSPLCD64GW Commercial Touchscreen Display
Xantech’s Commercial LCD Touchscreen Controller series consists of three interactive touchpanels- a 3.9", 6.4" diagonal color graphic touchpanel and a 6.4" diagonal video touchpanel. All functionality and screen graphics are fully programmable using Xantech’s intuitive and easy to use Dragon Drop-IR™ programming software using either the RS232 or USB ports located behind the detachable faceplate. Each touchpanel has the ability to output RS232/422, IR and Voltage control to control a multitude of devices. The RS232/422 port can be expanded to 8 ports using the RS2321X8 and offers full bi-directional feedback to the screen with Xantech’s Data Dictionary object library.
