FRAMINGHAM, MA – Oct. 1, 2019 – The Bose Professional DeltaQ ShowMatch line array loudspeaker system was used to power the Urban Stage during the 22nd Sonorama Ribera festival held August 7-11. The annual festival, which hosted more than 300,000 attendees, is held in Aranda de Duero, the capital of the Ribera del Duero wine region in Spain, and featured a wide range of performers, including the Italian/Spanish electronic duo Delaporte, the bedroom pop band Cupido and vocalist Juancho Marques, as well as Ayoho, Fru Katinka, Funzo & Baby Loud, among others.
Ensuring each performer’s music would be clearly heard by attendees, Delta Sound Spain the rental partner for Bose Professional, provided the festival with a ShowMatch system that consisted of 22 ShowMatch line array modules (11 per stage side); six SMS118 subwoofers per side paired with four ShowMatch SM5 loudspeaker modules across the stage lip; and two ground stacks made up of an SMS118 subwoofer and two ShowMatch loudspeaker modules (an SM10 and SM20) as side fills. Additionally, a Bose F1 Model 812 Flexible Array loudspeaker was employed for DJ monitors and a Bose S1 Pro Multi-Position PA system was positioned at front of house (FOH) as a talkback monitor.
After five days of interacting with and experiencing the ShowMatch system, FOH engineer Javi Vadillo stated, "The clarity and punch from the ShowMatch line array was unbelievable for a system of that size!"
