Waves Audio to Hold “From the Mix to the Master”
Masterclass Event on December 5 at CRAS

KNOXVILLE, TN, November 27, 2019 — On Thursday, December 5, 2019 (7:30 pm–10:00 pm MST), Waves Audio will be hosting a masterclass event, “From the Mix to the Master,” at The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences (CRAS) in Gilbert, Arizona. The session will feature a full walkthrough of a song from recording session through to mixing and mastering. The event is free, but space is limited. RSVP here.

The evening will be opened by Waves’ own Michael Pearson-Adams (Creed, Shakira, Robert Plant, Jimmy Page), mix engineer and director of training, as he takes you through a recording and mix session that he will be prepping for mastering. Acclaimed mastering engineer and Waves artist Piper Payne (Third Eye Blind, Madame Gandhi), based out of Nashville, will then take you through Michael’s mix and explain the good, the bad and the ugly, so that you will leave with a deeper knowledge of how to best prepare your music for the final mastering stage, and ultimately, release. This event is not to be missed for those who seek a more holistic understanding of the relationship between the music production process and how the song is perceived by listeners around the world.
