Waves Announces SoundGrid®-Compatible Sound Studio STG Stageboxes

The NAMM Show, Anaheim, California, January 25, 2018Waves Audio (booth 15301), a leading provider of digital signal processing solutions and digital music production tools, announces SoundGrid®-compatible stageboxes: the STG-1608 and STG-2412.

Sound Studio stageboxes meet the audio industry’s need for top quality, rugged audio interfaces that can connect and network with modern live sound systems. They are the ultimate stageboxes with high-end audio interfaces for live sound and SoundGrid connectivity, offering pristine sound, easy connectivity and road-readiness.

These rack-mountable STGs come with IOs of 16x8 and 24x12. They feature high-end digitally controlled preamps, AD/DA converters and easy SoundGrid connectivity for real-time plugin processing and monitoring.

The built-in SoundGrid card allows users to quickly interface with the Waves eMotion LV1 live mixer or any other hardware or software in a SoundGrid network. Users can connect a single Ethernet cable to easily record, mix and monitor live or in the studio.

Built to endure the punishing road, these stageboxes are built to last and perform optimally and consistently under the most demanding conditions, on tour and in any live environment.
