A few user stories illustrate Auralex solutions making a difference for successful podcasters:
Nashville-based firm Relationary Marketing works with partner agencies and direct clients to produce high-quality podcasts for premium brands. Much of this content is produced out of their headquarters, which is located at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center. Clark Buckner, partner at Relationary Marketing, notes, “Podcasts are in demand; businesses want to have one, even if they're not sure how best to use it. We’re able to provide both the asset, and best practices on how to use them.”
In the firm’s Nashville studio, they employ the following Auralex components: SonoLite™ acoustical panels, T-Coustic™ acoustical ceiling tiles, MineralFiber™ and DeskMAX™ portable acoustical treatment. Partner Chuck Bryant adds, “With over 90,000,000 Americans consuming podcasts every month, brands and large companies want in the podcast space. But now with over 600,000 podcasts in the directory, top-quality audio content is essential to be a differentiating factor to stand out. With Auralex, we’re able to reach this quality.”
Buckner remarks, “Auralex has completely elevated our production quality by greatly reducing outside sounds while giving a natural sounding treated room. And our clients have noticed the improvements. We will actually be launching our own podcast later this year to share some of the knowledge we have accumulated in terms of leveraging podcasts for B2B content, and Auralex will surely be crucial to what we produce there.”
Messiah Community Radio Talk Show
The Messiah Community Radio Talk Show, based in Bradenton, FL, is hosted by Michael James Lorin, who began the show a few years ago as an evolution of his work as an FM radio personality and voiceover artist. He notes, “I have always been curious about people and wanted to connect with them about things that mattered. Everyone has amazing gifts and talents, so it seemed like a good idea to explore the human condition on a broader scale. The show began by featuring self-published Christian authors and after a few short years expanded to include secular and Christian guests who are leading influencers in their fields. Presently, we have over 150 episodes and counting with top leaders in their field such as scholars, authors, musicians, and celebrities.” Some of these guests include George Foreman, actor Stacy Keach, Jonathan Cain from the band Journey, inventor Mike Lindell, tennis champion Michael Chang and more.
Lorin notes, “I first heard of Auralex from doing online research, and many of my friends and guests who are top voiceover talent all had similar recommendations to back that up: Auralex is key to producing great audio content.” Lorin’s setup is based around the Auralex EditMAX suite, which is a bundle of products specifically tailored to these sorts of applications. He employs the following Auralex components, all in use since March 2018: four ProMAX v2 stand-mount acoustical panels, four stand-mount LENRD Studiofoam bass traps, two DeskMAX panels, and a MoPAD-XL monitor speaker isolation pad.
Lorin adds, “Employing Auralex was a great decision. It took a room with terrible echo slapback and instantly made it into a controlled studio environment. It almost seemed like magic at how fast it worked. I never have to worry about echo or unwanted noise. I do voiceovers as well, and that is where it is most noticeable. I'm able to hand in top-notch recordings for any client. I was relieved that there was a simple and effective solution to poor acoustics in rooms. EditMAX was a dream come true, especially for a rented space (no glue or screws needed). When good acoustics meet good content, the value and quality of the program goes up in the eyes of listeners. The EditMAX takes the guesswork out of the equation and allows you to focus on producing content.”
