Eventide Hosts Power User Demos During AES
October 16, 2019, New York, NY – AES Convention – Demos, commentary and insight will be shared during AES New York 2019 as Eventide Audio (Booth 222 and, in the Avid Partner Pavilion, Booth 504C) hosts special guests from its user base.
Roy Hendrickson (a Powerstation alumnus with engineering credits including Meghan Trainor, Desmond Child, Paul McCartney, Mary J Blige, Frank Sinatra, Roberta Flack and Kirk Whalum, to name but a few), will share how he has incorporated the Eventide H9000 into his production workflow.
Chuck Zwicky, a recording and mix engineer who has also designed plug-ins and built studios, and whose credits include Prince, The Rembrandts, Reggie Watts, Soul Asylum, Nine Inch Nails, the Jonas Brothers and more, will demonstrate the use of Eventide’s VSig Visual Editor software (now in public Beta testing) to create custom processing algorithms.
Award-winning producer and engineer Kevin Killen, known for seminal engineering on Peter Gabriel’s So, U2’s The Unforgettable Fire, David Bowie’s Blackstar and the film The Commitments – a minor sampling of his work – will be sharing how he deploys Eventide plug-ins in the studio.
Also demonstrating plug-ins will be award-winning engineer, producer and songwriter Juan Cristóbal (JC) Losada (Carlos Santana, Ricky Martin, Enrique Iglesias, Plácido Domingo, José Feliciano, Shakira, José José, Chayanne and more), based on his adoption of Eventide plug-ins in his engineering work.
Additional friends of Eventide will join the fun at AES – visit booths 222 and 504C for the latest information.
