Gear Club Podcast #98 features conversations with Prince collaborators

New York, NY, January 22, 2025 — The latest episode of Gear Club Podcast, a collection of conversations with Prince collaborators, is now live online at https://www.gear-club.net/episodes/98-prince. Titled “Working for Prince,” the episode is an over-70-minute deep-dive into the creative work life of the enigmatic music legend.

Prince is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, has won seven GRAMMYs and garnered 38 nominations, and has sold over 150 million albums worldwide (with three in the GRAMMY Hall of Fame), among countless other accolades. In his almost 40-year career, he played almost 1500 concerts, released 38 albums, left behind a supposedly endless vault of unreleased material, and nonetheless remained an enigma. Listen in as hosts Stewart Lerman and John Agnello talk to the engineers who worked most closely with Prince in the studio on seminal albums across different eras of his wide-ranging career. There are amazing stories, pivotal moments, and behind-the-scenes insights into the work and personality of an artist very few people got to know up close and personal.
