Pensado’s Place and Vintage King Audio to Hold Fourth Annual “Gear Expo” in Nashville on Saturday, October 22, 2016

            Pensado’s Place, the acclaimed weekly web series known as the most influential show for engineers, mixers and producers, and its hosts Dave Pensado and Herb Trawick, co-hosting with Vintage King Audio, a leader in professional audio sales, studio consulting, and comprehensive gear servicing, along with leaders from the Nashville recording community, top pro audio manufacturers and beyond.

The fourth annual “Gear Expo,” one of the hottest gear and music-making expos in America, with resources for anyone involved with professional audio, home recording or simply making music. Attendees will once again be able to demo gear, talk directly with manufacturer reps, watch live interviews, mingle with the celebrity guests, listen to live music, win prizes, enjoy local food trucks and more.

Panels and special presentations will include a Songwriters Panel at 11 a.m. featuring Marc Beeson (Lady Antebellum, Sam Hunt), Phil O’Donnell (Blake Shelton, Kellie Pickler), Jason Duke (Kelsea Ballerini, Keith Urban) and Liz Hengber (Reba McEntire, Ronnie Dunn); a live jam at 12:30 spotlighting Blackbird Academy student and accident survivor David Platillero with John Willis (Kenny Chesney, Taylor Swift) and Mike Brignardello (Dolly Parton, Tim McGraw); a Producers Panel at 1:30 p.m. featuring Brendan Benson (The Raconteurs, Modoc), DJ Swivel (Chainsmokers, Beyoncé), Josh Gudwin (Justin Bieber) and Chris Lord-Alge (Green Day, Dwight Yoakam); Gigs in Audio Panel at 2:30 p.m. featuring Joseph Magee (Pitch Perfect), Mark Rubel (Audio Forensics, Education), Derek Williams (That’s My Gig), Carl Tatz (studio designer), Deniece Barnes (radio host) and Tom Salta (Game Audio Network Guild); and other special guests including Mitch Dane (Jars of Clay, The Black Cadillacs), F.
