RF Venue extends invisible performance Architectural Antenna series to IEMs

— The RF Venue® Architectural Antenna series now includes the CP Architectural™ Antenna for IEM systems as well as the Diversity Architectural™ Antenna for wireless microphones to optimize the performance of a complete wireless audio system with aesthetic neutrality —

InfoComm, Orlando, FL, June 14, 2023 — The innovative RF Venue® Architectural Diversity™ Antenna, introduced last year, folds the patented cross-polarized characteristics of the widely adopted RF Venue Diversity Fin® Antenna into a compact, low-profile enclosure that disappears into its surroundings while delivering exceptional, dropout-free wireless microphone reception. RF Venue has now extended its Architectural Antenna series with the introduction of the CP Architectural Antenna. Building on the highly acclaimed CP Beam Antenna and housed in the same slim enclosure as the RF Venue Diversity Architectural Antenna for invisible performance, the CP Architectural Antenna provides enhanced protection against wireless IEM dropouts and improves sound quality for IEM bodypack receivers.

“The Architectural Diversity Antenna set a new standard for performance combined with near invisibility,” says RF Venue Chief Innovation Officer Chris Regan. “It was inevitable that our customers would want that same combination of high performance and low visual impact for wireless IEM use as well as with microphones. With the addition of the CP Architectural Antenna to the Architectural series, we can now offer a complete solution to an installation’s wireless audio antenna needs that satisfies the most demanding requirements for aesthetic neutrality as well as dropout-free reception and transmission.”

Unlike LPDA (“paddle”) antennas with a fixed polarization, the CP Architectural Antenna uses a circularly polarized design to deliver a consistent signal to IEM bodypacks, even when the performer bends or twists. “The combination of the CP Architectural Antenna and the Diversity Architectural Antenna optimizes the performance of a complete wireless audio system regardless of mic and IEM system brands or models,” says Regan. “The low-profile housing common to both antennas can be installed on a wall or ceiling and painted to match any interior, which room designers and architects appreciate.”

The CP Architectural and Architectural Diversity Antennas, along with RF Venue’s full line of wireless audio essential accessories including antenna distribution systems, IEM transmitter combiners, in-line filters and RF amplifiers, are available for immediate shipment from stock. The CP Architectural Antenna is also available bundled with RF Venue Wireless In-Ear Monitor Upgrade Packs featuring COMBINE4 and COMBINE8 antenna combiners and all needed cabling for a clean, easy setup, while the Architectural Diversity Antenna is available bundled with DISTRO series RF distribution systems and all cabling needed upgrade wireless microphone systems.
