RCF exhibits the EVOX J
True 3-way active column systems for portable, high-definition sound
InfoComm, Las Vegas, NV, June 17, 2026 – RCF (Demo room N209/booth N8133) is showcasing its expanded EVOX lineup with a family of three active column systems built around a true 3-way electroacoustic design, a new amplification platform, and a clean, neutral aesthetic. All models are available in black or white. Drawing on more than a decade of EVOX adoption in DJ, live performance, and rental applications, EVOX J is a ground-up evolution focused on higher headroom, clearer vocal projection, and faster deployment.
At the heart of EVOX J is a dedicated high-frequency section: a 1.75” neodymium compression driver (Kapton dome) loaded by RCF’s True Resistive Waveguide (TRW), engineered to deliver constant 120° × 40° coverage and designed to reduce typical horn harshness. The midrange is handled by an array of 3” neodymium cone transducers that integrates the HF section to provide the focused “single-source” feel associated with point-source systems.
Low frequencies come from a high-power 12” woofer in a bass-reflex enclosure. A new generation of Class-D amplification delivers 2100 W (J9/JMIX9) or 3500 W (J11), providing significantly more headroom than previous architectures. The system is managed by onboard processing that includes FiRPHASE (0º linear-phase response with minimal latency), Bass Motion Control (extended low-end without instability), and protection features.
The range includes:
EVOX J9: 130 dB Max SPL, 2100 W, 6 × 3” mid array, three EQ presets (Live/Linear, Club, Voice)
EVOX JMIX9: J9 acoustic platform plus an integrated 8-channel stereo digital mixer with 2.4” color touch display, THAT® mic preamps, Bluetooth Audio, per-channel processing, scene recall, audio ducker, reverb and JMixRemote app control via Bluetooth BLE (with optional security PIN).
EVOX J11: 132 dB Max SPL, 3500 W, 12 × 3” mid array, four EQ presets (Live, Linear, Club, Voice) and PowerCON TRUE1-TOP for more demanding professional use.
For extended low-frequency impact, EVOX J systems can be paired with compatible RCF subwoofers using ACE integration presets (i.e. SUB AX series), aligning delay and phase for optimized summation and extreme bass impact.
