— Genelec, a world-renowned innovator in active loudspeaker technology for 28 years, has made three key appointments to support the company’s ongoing growth and global development. Genelec’s Managing Director Lisa Kaufmann announced the new hires, emphasizing that their individual knowledge and skill sets bring shared benefits for the Genelec team, as well as its customers in the professional audio, custom installation and home theater fields.

Paul Stewart is now Product Specialist at Genelec. As a project consultant, he has provided design expertise from equipment specification to layout and system integration. Paul has designed and installed numerous wiring systems in recording studios as well as home theater and multi-media rooms. He will employ his extensive contacts with major studios, engineers, producers, artists and record companies nationwide to further strengthen Genelec’s network of business partners. Paul is fluent in digital audio formats on both Mac and PC platforms and is an accomplished musician.

Dan Pye has joined Genelec in the position of Sales Support, advancing the company’s sales and marketing department capabilities, also handling warehouse maintenance, trade show representation, and daily shipping/receiving. Dan is a recent graduate of the University of Massachusetts Lowell where he received a degree in Sound and Recording Technology. While at U. Mass. Lowell, he studied classical and jazz bass, along with music theory and ear training. Most recently Dan has been tutoring junior high school students in mathematics while working as a staff engineer at a multi-track studio, recording and mixing diverse music projects. Dan is well versed in multiple digital and analog formats.

Amy Tran has been named Sales Administrator at Genelec, making a smooth transition from her prior role at an authorized Genelec reseller and CEDIA member. She is now responsible for order processing, establishing new accounts, and providing dealer sales, general office and marketing administration at Genelec. Amy has over four years experience in sales support, order processing, and HT project management along with general office administration.

Lisa Kaufmann comments, “As the pace of our business ever increases, Genelec has been on the search for highly qualified and dedicated additions to our family.
