PMC Hosts Waves Audio Seminars at AES

— Four instructive sessions will focus on various perspectives and tips on Waves plugins —


TEL AVIV, ISRAEL, September 26, 2012 Waves Audio, the industry-leading developer of professional audio digital signal processing technologies, in partnership with PMC Loudspeakers, will be holding several seminars in conjunction with the 133rd AES Convention, October 27-29, 2012, in San Francisco, California. The sessions will be held at PMC’s Masters of Audio Demo Room (Demo Room 114).

SEMINAR #1:
“Maximizing your Analog modeling tools with Waves and PMC”
Saturday, October 27, 2012, at 9:30 am
This session will be an in-depth discussion and demonstration of the latest advancements in Analog modeling plugins, digging deep into some of the most popular and sonically rich analog modeling plug-ins available today, including Waves NLS, CLA Classic Comps, Neve, SSL & API. Come learn how these invaluable audio tools are used in both project and professional studios all over the world.

SEMINAR #2:
“The Art of Sound Design with Charles Deenen, Waves, & PMC”
Saturday, October 27, 2012, at 10:00 am
Charles Deenen will host an in-depth discussion and demonstration on Sound Design for Trailers and Games. Sound design is one of most vital and fun aspects of Audio Post, and Deenen will be sharing his wealth of experience and knowledge on the subject. This demonstration will be conducted using Waves plug-ins and PMC monitors.

Ross Hogarth, Waves and PMC will again be in the Audio Masters room for an in-depth discussion and demonstration of some of Hogarth’s favorite Waves plug-ins. Hogarth will be sharing his 30-plus years of experience and knowledge in music and Pro Audio, so please come pick his brain! All demonstrations will be conducted using Waves plug-ins & PMC Monitors.
