InfoComm, Orlando, FL, June 11, 2025 — Audio-Technica (booth 3716), a leading innovator in transducer technology for over 60 years, announces that its ATUC-50 conference system is now compatible with Ross Video’s Quorum software, supporting native integration. By using Quorum with the ATUC-50, users have access to streamlined live-meeting production by enabling automatic video switching based on microphone activity and speaker identification. Together, these solutions are ideal for settings like city councils, legislative chambers, conference halls and boardrooms.
The Ross Video Quorum automation system controls switchers, cameras and graphics, making it easy for one operator to broadcast a meeting. It simplifies broadcast production with automated camera and graphic control, using mark-based positioning – for instance, around tables, lecterns and podiums. Intelligent automation guides camera movement and precise graphical placement, and its web-based interface enables access from any browser and can be scaled to support multi-room setups. The use of Quorum with ATUC-50 reduces the need for manual switching during meetings and enables instant visual switching by linking microphone activation to the corresponding attendee.
Three mic modes are supported: Manual (operator can manually select speaker for adjustment and program), Semi-Automatic (speaker put in preview for operator to choose angle and adjust before program), and Full (puts speaker in preview, then cameras move, then speaker automatically goes to program). Quick setup is offered in the Quorum system via the Microphone Systems configuration panel.
Matt Markgraf, Audio-Technica Global Strategic Partnerships and Alliance Manager, remarked, “Audio-Technica is pleased to partner with Ross Video, together providing a reliable and high-quality broadcast-grade solution simplifying control room operations. Integrating the ATUC-50 with Quorum enables seamless and smarter meetings, automatically spotlighting speakers without manual switching, ultimately elevating the meeting experience.”
Jack Horry, Product Manager, Quorum at Ross Video, stated, “We’re proud to expand Quorum’s integration with Audio-Technica’s conference microphones, offering greater choice and flexibility for productions. This collaboration enhances our automated speaker tracking, ensuring a seamless transition between speakers, and guides the user to the best outcome when operated manually. We look forward to continuing our work together to bring even more options to our customers.”
